Supervised Contact
Supporting Safe, Positive Family Time
At Shuttleworth Solutions, we believe that supervised contact should be a safe, positive, and meaningful experience for children and their families. Our experienced social workers ensure that each session is child-focused, respectful, and structured to support healthy interactions between parents and children.

We understand that no two families are the same. That’s why we offer flexible contact arrangements in a variety of settings to meet the specific needs and circumstances of each case.
Where Contact Can Take Place
In the Community
A popular option for many families, community-based contact takes place in familiar environments such as parks, playgrounds, cafés, or restaurants. These informal settings help parents and children relax and engage naturally, while our social workers remain discreet but attentive throughout the session.
In the Parent’s Home
When appropriate, supervised contact can be arranged in the parent’s home, allowing children to reconnect in a familiar and comfortable space.
Please note: a risk assessment will be carried out beforehand to ensure the environment is safe for both children and staff.
In a Designated Venue
More traditional supervised contact can be arranged in local family centres or neutral indoor venues. These settings offer a consistent, controlled environment ideal for structured sessions.
